Ethan's End of School Party

I helped out with Ethan's end of third grade party.  We had it outside and it was a beautiful day.  The kids had fun going through different stations as classes.  And I'm glad that Ethan still gets excited to have his momma around for these things. ;-)

This was pretty funny.  The kids had to feed each other blindfolded.  They had a great time and got messy.

Look who I ran into on the playground!  His class came out for recess during Ethan's party.

Carrying a bag of goodies around his neck.

Some of his classmates showin off thier winnings.

His 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Long.  He always says he doesn't like his teacher but then on the last day of school he cries and says they were the best teacher ever and he's going to miss them.  Little stinker.
Moving on to 4th grade!

Kindergarten Graduation

I survived my last kindergarten graduation. :-(  Sadly Mondo couldn't be there because he had to go out of town for work.  He was so torn up about it.  I videoed it and sent it to him.  I told him the one good reason that he should be happy he missed it was because the AC went out in the school the day before.  What a terrible time to have no cold air...when the cafeteria is PACKED with parents and kids.  I felt so bad for the principal...but not as bad as I felt for the poor kids wearing long pants, a gown, and a hat!  They were all sweating so bad.  I ended up taking the kids out of school early that day because the whole school felt like a furnace!  Anywho...on to the pics. :-)

I LOVE this pic!  Caleb made a portrait of himself.

There's Caleb in the middle.  I didn't get a picture of him walking across the stage because I was videoing.

Poor sweaty baby. :-(

We loved Mrs. Loteryman!

Oh the cuteness...

Family Pics

For so long I've been wanting nice family pictures.  But, I'm too cheap to pay hundreds of dollars for it!  Well lucky for me, one of my co-workers started a side business in photography.  I agreed to be her guinea pig for her first family photo shoot and got some great shots for a great price!  I won't narrate each one.  I just attached a bunch for your viewing pleasure.  Caleb's face was crazy in most of them.  Some of it was a glare and some of it was just him trying really hard to smile!  The first one is my favorite. :-)

Field Day

Ethan always looks forward to Field Day.  It was actually a nice day this year and not too hot.  He had fun doing little running, ball throwing, relaying, and hula hooping.  Mondo and I stayed after he was done and helped out with selling food and drinks.  Ethan even came in behind the scenes and helped behind the counter!

He won first place in jump roping!

Caleb didn't participate in Field Day since he was in kindergarten.  I'm sure he will be excited to do it next year!

Victory!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day with my boys.  I like to take the picture in the same place to see how they've grown.
Ethan made my coffee and brought it to me. :-)

This was my first attempt at a cupcake bouquet.  It was a lot harder than it looked!  I gave it to my mom for her present.  It became comical to watch the icing fall off of the cupcakes.  It looked pretty scraggly by the time I left her house.  If I made another one it will need some tweaking. ;-)

I made a cupcake arrangement and my sister made a real one!

Just the girls...my mom, sister, and I.

I LOVE getting home made stuff from the kids.  It really is my favorite present.  Ethan made this at school.

And he wrote me this story about us...as a family of ninjas. ;-)

More flowers! Mondo got me this arrangeent.  It was super pretty.  He knows I don't prefer roses when the prices are jacked up just because it's mother's day or valentines day.
