Going Bonkers

A few months ago we went to a birthday party at Going Bonkers. It's a really fun place that has these huge playscapes on both sides, a little food court, and video games upstairs. Too bad it's far away...it's in Lewisville. I haven't taken the kids other than at this party. Ethan definitely has to go with a friend because he gets a little freaked out when he gets up to the top all alone and can't figure out how to get down. I can't really climb up in there when I have Caleb. There is a small spot at the bottom for toddlers that Caleb really enjoyed. On to the pics!

I stole this picture off the website. Look at all those places to climb! Caleb will love it when he's a little older.

This was in the little toddler area.
I love this picture. He was having such a good time being a big boy!
I only grabbed a couple of pictures of Ethan. He was too busy climbing with Colton.
Making it through the little maze.
Look at those red cheeks and sweaty head!
Love those cheeks.
This was also in the toddler area. He had such a good time.
This was a little slide in the toddler area that Ethan and Colton played on for a while. Of course, Caleb was right behind them.

Mother's Day

Another Mother's Day has come and gone. I'm so blessed to be a mother of two sweet boys. They definitely bring me joy and make me laugh like no one else can. They just ooze love and sweetness and I could just eat them up! All my life I dreamed about being a mother and I'm so lucky to have been able to have these children. I still hold a little place in my heart for my very first baby that I lost. I know I wasn't very far along but it was still a baby to me and I wanted it so bad. But, God gave me two more to love and I couldn't ask for more.

This was what I came home to on Sunday morning. Those are reese's peanut butter cups. My favorite! Someone got creative.

Mommie and her sweet boys!

I had to put this one on here. It totally sums up my life with Caleb. We were posed all cute and then he turned to me and spit in my face right as Mondo took the picture. Priceless.

I love this!!! This is from Caleb's class at church.

That's my little Ethan's hand, so cute.
Ethan made this at school. He spelled "mom" and drew me a flower. So sweet! I'm such a sucker for anything my kids make for me.

This was on the inside. He wrote his own name, although the letters are a little jumbled. It makes perfect sense to me.

This was also in the card. It's what Ethan thinks about me. By the way, I've never dressed as Spiderman...I'm always Mary Jane. :-)

And this last picture is to say happy mother's day to my own mother! She was always there for every activity and always baking things for school and church. She let tons of friends come over all the time and destroy the house. She was the neighborhood, school, and church mom. Now she is an awesome Nana and is brave enough to let the kids cook with her! So, happy mother's day to you mom!

Dancing Kings

Here's a couple of dance videos from the boys, mainly Ethan. The first one is more of his techno, breakdancing style. The second one is slower and he called it his "Gorilla Dance". Enjoy!

Cheese!

Caleb's new favorite word is "cheese". But not the food, it's when you say cheese for a picture. The other night Ethan was pretending to take his picture and Caleb was yelling "cheese!". Of course he was a little over it by the time I got the camera ready but you can still kind of hear it.

A Camping We Will Go!

A few weeks ago we went camping with our class from church. It was one night at Joe Pool Lake. We were brave and took both kids. Ethan had a blast and Caleb probably walked 10 miles the whole time we were there. That's all he wanted to do was walk! Most of the pictures are of Caleb because I was following him around. Ethan was off with the big kids playing in tents and running around playing super heroes. When we got there we played for a while, then went fishing even though it was incredibly windy, ate dinner, had smores, went to bed, got up had breakfast (thanks Mondo for getting everyone Starbucks!), then we had to head out for Ethan's soccer game. It was a fun time but a little trying with Caleb. He had a hard time going to sleep because of all the noise. It was almost midnight before he was out. Then good old mother nature woke us up at 0645 with the birds chirping overhead! I was sure glad to see my bed and my shower that night!!!

Here's our tent that we borrowed. It was huge. I forgot to get a picture of the inside. I think it could sleep 12 people. The four of us cuddled into one corner.

This was our campground.

I love this picture! Caleb is very into giving Ethan hugs.

We only fished for about 15 minutes. The wind was crazy! Our chairs were blowing over and the kids could hardly throw out their fishing lines without them blowing back. They still had fun trying.

Caleb didn't need a pole, just a net to scoop them up! I'm glad he didn't realize he was fishing for sticks in that little puddle.

There were plenty of chips so Caleb was in heaven! I think that's all he ate for dinner that night. I was willing to give him whatever made him happy and kept him still for a few minutes!

Look at that chip mouth.

I'm not sure what was in his mouth...probably a marshmallow. He didn't want to have his picture taken because he was too busy playing.

Caleb thought he might need some snacks for later so he tried to steal the ice chest full of food. He didn't get very far but he was pulling with all his might!

This was the pavillion where we ate. There's Caleb in the red shirt darting off again!

Ethan and Maddie playing football.

I LOVE this picture. I had just got him dressed that morning and took him out of the tent. He walked straight to the firepit and sat down and played in the ashes. He was so dirty! What a little boy!!

Baseball in Caleb's Future?

We didn't teach him how to do this. He just walked up and did it like he'd been doing it for years! And the paci has to be in his mouth when he's outside so he doesn't eat everything!

Stop, Soccer Time!

Ethan started soccer a couple of months ago. Sadly, I've only been to 3 games since they are on Saturday and that's when I sleep. I like soccer better than t-ball. It's pretty funny to watch them run the wrong way and help the other team score...although "playing is winning" because they don't keep score. Ethan is pretty good. There are two kids who are really good but they're a little older and have soccer experience. Ethan is always right behind them. He hasn't scored a goal by himself yet but he has helped with a few.

So cute.

I love this picture. Look at his belly sticking out!

What a great action shot! Thanks for sending it to me Summer!

Here he is playing goalie. I'm not sure what he is doing in this picture. It looks like something from Saturday Night Fever!

He's the one on the far left.

At the end of their games the parents line up and congratulate them on a job well done!

This isn't a great video but it gives you an idea of 4 year old soccer. Ethan is #7...and it looks like he is skipping to the goal.

Hoppy Easter!

I've been dreading doing this post because there are tons of pictures! We had a great Easter this year. The kids went to an egg hunt in the neighborhood on Saturday while I slept, then we had Easter festivities at my mom's on Sunday.

This was at the Easter egg hunt on Saturday at someone's house in our neighborhood. Mondo did a great job taking pics while I was at home asleep.

Is it a suprise that he's egg hunting in a Spiderman shirt?

Caleb had to check out what Ethan got. It's much easier than hunting himself!

Well, maybe he picked up an egg or two.

This is the only Easter bunny pic I got this year. I decided to skip the mall bunny. But I will definitely do Santa at Christmas!

This was on Easter morning. They were checking out what the Easter bunny brought them. Luckily mommy bunny had time when she got home from work to throw then together!

This is my new favorite picture. Could they get any cuter??? Caleb posed himself!

Also super cute. Can't you just feel the love?

I can't believe how big Ethan is getting. He no longer has a baby face...he's a big kid!

Yep, Caleb dumped his laundry basket over himself and climbed on top of it. I said "say cheese" and he did! For the first time! His laundry basket is now in his closet so he can't get to it.

They hunted eggs at my parent's house after lunch so they were still in their "sloppy" shirts. Why does his face look like he's doing something he's not supposed to?

Caleb had just woke up from a nap so he wasn't too interested in egg hunting.

His little eyes still look sleepy. :-( See his head covered in confetti?

Ethan was a good big brother and cleaned off his hair.

What, no more eggs?

Ethan found a prize egg! Yummy peanut butter cups...mommy's favorite!

This is suposed to be a bunny cake. My mom makes it every year for Easter and lets the kids decorate it. Well this year they got a little out of control! It doesn't even resemble a bunny! Next year I'm taking charge so we don't end of with another bunny cake on acid!

He had to end the day with a little chocolate. He is his mommy's kid!
