Bowling with Mom

Short little post about bowling with mom. Once a year we usually do a mother/son outing with church. This year we did bowling. Caleb was super into it...Ethan was more into hanging with his friends instead of his mom. :-(

I ordered this shirt and it came in on that day. Perfect day to make it's debut! "Boymom"

Caleb was a pretty good little bowler. Ethan didn't bowl long enough for me to get a pic. :-/

Long story...but we were chosen to do a photo shoot for the city of Grand Prairie for some billboards and/or mailing advertisement. So no, we're not actually moving. Just being models for a day. ;-)

The boys helped me babysit our friend's little boy while he went out with Mondo and some other friends. They boys had a great time!

Poor Ethan woke up one morning in tears with neck pain. He couldn't move and was panicking. I was too...I seriously thought he had meningitis. He stayed home from school and we decided he just slept wrong. But he was super miserable all day.

The next day was picture day. He managed to go but had to hold his neck to the side. Looked like he was posing. Poor baby.

Summer Golf Tournament

During the summer, Ethan had a golf tournament with some kids at Rolling Hills Country Club. They met every Monday evening for 9 holes of golf and then the winning team was determined by who had the best score at the end of several weeks. We had a great time getting to ride along side him in the cart and be his caddy. Caleb came to the first tournament but luckily Nana and Papa kept him for the remaining ones because it was hot and boring for him.
