Getting Settled In

Well, first let's start with me since I know everyone is dying to know how I'm doing. :-) My recovery has been much better this time around. I guess an easy delivery means an easy recovery. I'm still sore but I'm pretty much back to life as usual. And I've dropped 20 pounds! That's pretty crazy. Breastfeeding is going pretty good. I'm constantly starving and thirsty trying to keep up with Caleb's demands. He seems to be more hungry at night, occasionally requiring a bottle to top him off. I like breastfeeding during the day but it sure seems like a lot of trouble at night. I'm sure we will both get used to it and it won't seem like such a hassle. I remember bottle feeding Ethan at night every 3-4 hours and he slept like a champ. Speaking of Ethan, he is still doing great as a big brother. He wants to hold him all the time and help take care of him...unless Caleb is screaming, then Ethan leaves the room with his hands over his ears. Luckily, Caleb isn't a screamer unless he is getting a bath or a change of clothes. His beautiful skin is getting jacked up this week with newborn rash. Ethan never got that. Hopefully it goes away soon. I guess that's about it for now. Caleb goes to the doctor next week for his two week check up. Enjoy the pics...sorry it took me so long to get more up. My free time is spent playing with Ethan or napping! Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, my veins are about 50% better. :-)
