Ethan started t-ball last Saturday. This year they are called the Riverdogs. His game was at 0915 so I was able to come. It was a bit of a fiasco getting there and parking but his game start time was running late so it worked out. I thought it was going to be nice and cool so Caleb and I wore jeans and it turned out to be super hot! We were pretty miserable. Ethan seemed to have fun. I think I might have caught him doing a dance move or two on the field. The coaches had to remind him to get in his "baseball ready" position. At the end of the game when we were leaving, I asked him if he liked it. He said, "Ya, but I like soccer better." When it was soccer season he said he liked t-ball better. He really likes t-ball practice the best because he gets to play on the playground when it's over.

Will, Ethan, and Tyler right before the game.

See their numbers? 8, 7, 6. I don't think we planned that. Ethan is always #7 in every sport.

A little pitching practice before the game.

Way to "gator chomp" that ball Ethan!

Having a little pow wow with his teammates before the game.

Getting a pep talk from Coach Eric.

Caleb had snack time with Maddie (Tyler's sister) in the dug out during the game. Doesn't he look so big?!

When did my baby grow up??
This picture just makes me smile. :-)
Going up to bat. I think #8 was lost...not sure what he was doing at home plate.
Woo hoo! He made it to first base! Ok, so maybe everyone gets to run the bases when they hit.

Here's a little clip of Ethan going to bat for the first time.
Here he is running home. There is no score in t-ball because "playing is winning!". Everyone gets a chance to bat and run the bases. They get to keep swinging till they hit it. It's pretty cute.

Adorable pictures! I love the one's of them by the fence! Will Caleb go to every game this year? I hope so, Maddie enjoyed his company.
