Christmas Lights

I was so proud of Mondo for working so hard on our Christmas lights this year. He spent several hours over several days perfectly placing every light. When he thought he was done, he'd go buy more. Luckily, we didn't have any wire hungry squirrels this year like we did last year! I'm lucky to have a husband who takes so much pride in our home. :-)

Our neighborhood has a lighting competition every year around Christmas. There are several categories: Best Lights, Best Lit Street, Most Traditional, Most Religious, Best Animated. We were so excited to come home one day and find a winning sign in our yard! We won second place for best lights! The first place winner was a huge house with tons of lights and light displays so I didn't feel to bad to accept second. (The candy cane was the award by the way...no money involved.) :-)
