After Mondo ran the half marathon at White Rock he really wanted to order a picture from it. We talked about it and decided they were too pricey for a little picture so we decided not to get one. Well, I was really proud of him for completing the marathon and I knew he really wanted a picture. That's when I got the idea to frame all of the memoribilia from the marathon. I ordered a picture and had it sent to my parent's house...months before his birthday.
The week before his birthday I took the picture from my parent's and started snooping in his closet for the medal and bib number. I found the bib...but no medal. I asked him where his medal was and he said he had it hanging at work. Darn! My big suprise was foiled. So I put the picture and bib in the shadow box and gave it to him for his birthday. He brought the medal home a few days later and I completed the present. He loved it!
