A Mother's Day post wouldn't be complete without saying happy mother's day to my own mother! I am blessed to have a great mom who is also a great friend. I talk to her almost everyday. She rarely says no to watching my kids. Caleb ALWAYS wants to "go go to Nana's house!". She is the best Nana ever. She lets the kids do whatever they want at her house. Nana's house = fun! She is always in the kitchen cooking or baking. She even bakes cookies almost every Friday for my co-workers. As soon as I get to work and they see the cookie tins, they know there are cookies inside and they get excited.
I am turning out to be just like my mother. I have the same habits, same ailments, same sayings. Just today I was at my mom's and I saw a plant that she planted in a pot that my sister-in-law made for us for mother's day. Guess what plant I planted in my pot at my house? Yep, the exact same plant. Weird. At least Mondo knows what I'm going to be like when I get older!
