Play Ball!

It's baseball season again! I think this is the sport that Ethan will stick with. He wants to play all the time in the backyard. The problem is now that he is getting better at it he always hits the ball onto the roof or over the fence! I was sad to miss his very first game of the season but I just couldn't manage it in the middle of my sleep time on a Saturday morning. Luckily, Mondo and Summer took pics for me. And...he plays on Tuesdays too! That works out great for me. It's a little tough keeping him out late on a school night but he loves it. He wants to skip practice now and just play the games. :-) The first group of pics is from his first game and the evening pics are from his second game. And there's a little video clip at the end!

For those of you who don't know Will (Summer's little boy) he is a SERIOUS Ranger's fan. How fitting that that is the name of their team! Summer got them these little stickers to put under their eyes. I was shocked to hear that Ethan kept them on the whole game!

They high five the other team after each game. This was the day Ethan told me they played the "red birds" (Cardinals). Haha.

One of his night games. He has a little trouble being a social butterfly and not watching what's going on with the game. He has to talk to everyone who comes on base. ;-)

This might have been the day that Mondo told me Ethan was too busy cleaning off the mound to pay attention to the game. Wonder who he got that from?!

Caleb and Maggie keep each other entertained. Works out great for me because I actually get to watch a little of it! Bringing chippies doesn't hurt either. ;-)
