Beach Trip Part 2

When we first arrived, we ate at a fun restaurant (I can't remember the name). It was right on the beach. There was an outdoor bar area that had bubble fun for the kids. Like an insane amount of bubbles. The kids were in regular clothes but of course we let them run in and play!

It was quite the mess but they had a blast!

The boys were excited to have their own room to share. And you know what? Caleb slept in there with Ethan all week!  I was shocked!

Finally...beach time! The water was so beautiful and clear!

Taking a little drink break.

I mean...check out that water...ridiculous clear!

Lazy little beach bums.

Lunch on the beach.

Playing catch in the ocean with Daddy.

Taking a little dip in the pool before going in to get ready for dinner.

We went to eat at Fuddpuckers like we do every year...then we decided maybe we don't want to eat there anymore. I think after the 3rd time we figured out that its just a bunch of bad fried food with some baby alligators outside in nasty water. So...we've scratched it off the list for next time.

Mondo and Ethan played golf one day so caleb and I found a tennis court and played a little tennis. But we didn't last too long..it was hot!

Golf time with Dad.

Back to the beach!

We found this spot on our last trip. The boys LOVE it. The water is super shallow and full of little fish. They spend HOURS trying to catch them in their nets but they're super fast! It's tons of fun!

I got used to this view!

Safety first! This year I brought a shirt to save my poor little white skin. :-)

A little sand art.

They love digging holes on the beach.

The boys met some friends on the beach and they played together for hours.

The Margaritaville restaurant seemed like a happening place so we decided to eat dinner there. We all enjoyed it and had a great view of the bay while we ate.

After dinner we walked around the boardwalk area that is full of little shops and snack places. We had some shakes and the kids watched a little of a movie with a live band!

Last day at the beach and the rain was threatening...

Caleb did a little boogie boarding.

Shark bait! Mondo got out in the water with them more than I did. I'm too scared something is going to eat us!

What's all that black stuff in the water? Tiny fish! Thousands of them all clumped together swimming along. They would move away whe we got close and they were super fast! They reminded me of those silver fish from Finding Nemo who would huddle together to make shapes.

Those giant clouds of black fish are full of these tiny guys! Crazy!

Lunch time!

Caleb's fortress. :-)

Swimming in the rain.

The light rain turned into CRAZY wind and rain. We had to huddle under our tiny umbrella for shelter! Luckily it passed quickly.

We had to bury each other in the sand before we left.

So long beach trip...until next year...

Ethan needed an extra large hot chocolate after getting up early.

Caleb didn't last long...

...and Ethan didn't either. :-)
