Animal Kingdom

Our last park to visit was Animal Kingdom.  I was excited to go because Mondo missed out on it that last time we were at Disney because he was so sick.  It was nice to have my navigator back! 

All dressed and ready to see some animals!  (Yes, Ethan took "Stitch" everywhere after getting him at Hollywood Studios and he still sleeps with him.)

It did kind of have a zoo like feel to it.  Lots of shade and scenery.

The first ride we went to was the Safari ride.  It's pretty popular and gets a long line fast.  It is probably the best ride out there I think.  You get in a big Jeep with several other people and ride through the jungle and check out REAL animals.  No animatronics.

That tiny mountain in the background is the ride Expedition Everest.  More to come on that later in this post...

We went to the Lion King show that we didn't get to see the last time we were there.  It was amazing!!  The pictures don't do it justice.  Lots of acrobatics/singing/dancing.  It was great!

We were super excited to see the characters from Up!  They were very interactive and the dog even took off Ethan's hat and played with it.

We rode the Dinosaur ride for the first time.  We were excited to ride it but about halfway through...I decided it was a bad idea.  It was SUPER jerky and dark most of the time.  I got motion sickness really bad and didn't know if I was going to make it through.  It was a super cool ride...if it won't make you sick.

The boys did some middle eastern dancing.  It was so cute to watch!

This is Expedition Everest.  I rode it the last time we went to Disney because Mondo was too sick to.  This time I waited with Caleb.  :-)  Halfway through it the track switches and you go backwards through the whole thing again.  Barf. 

There was a climby play area in the dino land that the kids loved.  They would've stayed there all day!  Animal Kingdom was great but not at the top of our list of Disney parks.
