Caleb's 6th Birthday

As you saw from the previous post, Caleb's birthday kind of got squashed due to the ice storm and us getting stuck in Florida.  But there was still a cake to be made!

He requested an Octonauts cake and by golly he was going to get one!  I whipped this one out while he was at school and suprised him when he got home.

I invited a few friends over (thank you Summer and Kristy for dropping what you were doing!) and we sang happy birthday and had some cake.  And my sweet Caleb was just fine with his sad little party.  My baby has a big heart.  :-)

We love you so much Caleb Scott and are so proud of the big boy you are becoming.  You are so sweet and quick to serve others.  You're my little shy guy and that's ok.  :-)  I'm looking forward to seeing who you grow to be but there's no rush...please stay little as long as you want!  And you won't remember this, but you told me that you were going to sleep in my bed until you were an "old grandpa".  We'll see how long that lasts.  ;-)
