Scott and Izabela's Wedding

The long awaited wedding of Scott and Izabella finally happend. As Ethan said, "It took forever to get here!" Scott is Mondo's long time best friend. He met his bride Izabela while he was living in St. Louis for work and she was working there as an au pair (she is from Poland). Scott is like a brother to me so it was nice to have my family involved in his wedding. Mondo was one of his best men, I was a bridesmaid, and Ethan was the ringbearer. I called Caleb the honarary ring bearer. :-)
Me and Scott's sister Lindsey.

I am forever grateful to my parents for keeping track of this little dude for the whole wedding day and letting him and Ethan stay the night with them!

Ethan and Caleb with Izabela. Ethan has a just a tiny crush on her. ;-)

My sweet boys. Can't you tell that Ethan is forcing a smile? By this point, we had taken all of the professional pics before the wedding. I think he was all smiled out.

Daddy and his boys.

Me and my hunny. Blurry but good.

Thank you Will for letting Ethan borrow your Nintendo DS! It helped pass the time before the wedding...since we had to be there THREE hours early!

Ethan and Daddy.

Nice family photo...minus Caleb. He hadn't arrived yet. We told my parents to bring him at the last minute. No need having him tear up the church before the wedding.

Mommy and her little man.

Ethan and his "lady" as he called her. I really don't think he ever learned her name but he was stuck to her like glue!

Ethan with his other lady.

Ethan and his best adult buddy Scott.

Look at little Ethan down there acting like one of the guys! He was eating it up!

This was a funny picture to watch. Watch those hands James!

"Is this wedding ever going to start??"

The table outside of the chapel.

Caleb on his way to the reception.

Nana and Papa kept him busy with ice, cups, and spoons. Poor grandparents had to leave early because he was getting a little crazy. :-)

All of my pics of Ethan dancing are all blurry because he was in constant movement! All he wanted to do was dance no matter what type of song it was.

Mondo and Carolina (the maid of honor) looking nervous before giving their speeches.

Yummy brides cake!

Equally yummy groom's cake!

The bride, groom, and parents doing a traditional Polish wedding dance.

Ethan giving Daddy some love.

All out of love. Time for bed! Oh, Nana...Papa...

Best buddies for life.

Also best buddies for life. :-)

Ethan catching the garter...twice!

He was just a little proud.

Got to hang with my buddy Kristy.

Mondo got to hang with his buddy Jeffrey.

Whew...we all made it! What a great day together!

Ethan's Dance Video

Ethan requested that I put his video on the blog too, just like Caleb's. This is actually a really cool routine from America's Got Talent. Please excuse Caleb whining the whole time in the background. He wanted his song again. :-)

Playdate at Colton's

We went to Colton's new house a few weeks ago and had dinner and played. The kids had fun playing on some new toys. As soon as we got there Caleb found all of the Toy Story toys and was trying to hold them all. We had a great time. Ethan is really going to miss Colton when he goes to school. They will hardly see each other except for weekends...when Traci and I work. Poor guys. :-(

Ethan and Caleb playing on the swingset.

They enjoyed playing on this climbing wall. Caleb kept getting mad trying to climb up it but because he was too small.

Silly Caleb. What is it with kids putting buckets on their heads?

Yummy hotdogs and chippies!

They enjoyed playing in this pool. Traci had a pool at her old house and they are sure missing it this summer! I think I will get one of these pools next year. It's a little more enjoyable for Ethan than the little hard plastic one we have now.

Caleb and Carson were SO CUTE playing together. They usually don't pay much attention to each other but at the end of the night we heard them laughing hysterically and found them playing together. I'm still kicking myself for not videoing it! They were throwing stuff around the playroom and thought it was the funniest thing ever.

Seriously, the pictures don't do it justice!

July 4th

Ahh, July 4th. I always look forward to this holiday. Flags, BBQ, fireworks, swimming. Just good times. As usual, we went to my parent's house for some BBQ chicken with homemade BBQ sauce and all the trimmings...and homemade ice cream. Yum!! The kids had a great time playing together and spent most of the day in the pool. That night, Mondo and I took the kids to see fireworks at the Ballpark. I think they equally enjoyed them and were scared of them at the same time.

When did that kid get so big?? (They were dressed up for church that night...not for BBQ eating!)

That big firepit gets lit once a year for July 4th. We make authentic BBQ around here!

Are you salivating yet?

The kids feasted outside...probably a good idea with all the BBQ sauce.

We were all happy to see Aunt Lou there. Unfortunantly that's the day she wasn't feeling well and ended up in the hospital. :-(

Ethan throwing "pops" outside. We forgot to get sparklers this year...oops!

The kids watching fireworks in the back of the car. Note Ethan closing his ears. We brought a bag of popcorn but they were too enthralled in the fireworks to eat any.

Caleb kept saying "christmas lights!"

Ethan needed Daddy to hold him because the fireworks were too loud. He's really sensitive to loud noise. He closes his ears in the movie theater too.

Seriously, his ears were covered the ENTIRE time.
